TREATMENT FAQ:

What types of therapy are available?

Tailoring an appropriate and successful treatment depends on the needs and goals of the client which are further discussed during the initial intake. While I work within a range methodologies, I have been trained in both psychodynamic psychotherapy and cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy.  Finding a healthy balance between developing self-awareness while effectively learning and utilizing more adaptive coping skills is one of many important goals in developing a successful treatment plan.   My goal is to provide the most comprehensive and helpful therapeutic experience that best meets the needs of the client.  While no two treatments are exactly alike, the primary therapies I provide are the following:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention

  • Mindfulness Based Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Skills

  • Short-term Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
